Justin Woodie Bags An Eagle In League Play

—————————————

Dewstomper Golf Notes:

Every Wednesday morning a group of guys, any where from 15-25 gather to play in the “dew.” With an approximate 8 am start, there is a wide range of golfing abilities that show up. Using the a modified Stableford system, 1 point for bogey, 2 points for a par, and 4 points for an eagle, and a handicap based on how you play, the pace of play is brisk.  2 hours is the anticipated length of a round. Bogey is the worst score you can take, so play keeps moving.  All prizes paid out that day. Results from August 19 (20 players):  1st place Daniel (Cormier) plus 5;  2nd place Perry Bouplon plus 4;  3rd place Ron Hunt plus 3  Closest to the Pin on hole 3:  Clint (Brock?) 11ft 3in.  Come on over and join the fun.  25 players would be great.  Done by 10 am.

Life Tidbits:

When I look back at pictures from past years that show up on my Amazon photos, I realize how fast time goes by. Watching my little ones grow up, 5 and 10 years old now, I smile when I think about the times trying to put them to bed or get the correct clothes on them. All good times. This virus has made a lot of families spend more time together, not a bad thing, but this too will just be a memory. I think the key word today is Patience and Tolerance. You never know what the person next to you is going through or has gone through. Be Kind!!
