Health Center Foundation Golf Tournament
Due to the coronavirus, the Hoosick Falls Health Center Foundation has moved its Annual Golf Tournament to benefit the residents at the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls (CNR). It will be held on Friday, September 25 at the Hoosick Falls Country Club. We are anticipating a fun-filled day of team golf, while observing social distancing and other COVID-19 mandates in place at that time.
The Hoosick Falls Health Center Foundation has as its mission “To enhance the lives of the residents at CNR.” This year the Foundation is taking on the challenge of renovating the two resident lounges. These lounges are important as residents meet with their families and each other in these places. Some residents like to spend their day reading and watching television or playing cards with their friends. One lounge is an entrance to the deck and gardens. The other overlooks the front entrance. There will be large screen televisions in both lounges for the residents’ enjoyment. Monies raised at the golf tournament this year will be specifically designated towards this project.
