Successful Blood Drive in Stephentown
On Thursday, August 6 the Red Cross held a Blood Drive, sponsored by the Stephentown Library, at the Stephentown Fire Hall. The Blood Drive collected 44 units of blood which is a great success for our town. The Blood Drive was so popular that we did not have room for all who wanted to donate. The Library would like to thank all of the people who volunteered to work at the Blood Drive and a huge thank you to all who donated or tried to donate blood. Thank you also to the Stephentown Volunteer Fire Department for letting us use the Fire Hall for this extremely important event.
Stephentown Book Club meets on Tuesday, August 18 via GoToMeeting. This month’s book is Three Women by Lisa Taddeo. The meeting link will be posted on the library website.
New Hours
As of Friday, August 14, the Stephentown Library will not be open on Friday evenings. This will be in effect while the library is open for Curbside Pickup only. The new Friday hours will be 12 pm to 5 pm.
