Where did you work previously?

I started my career in education as a teaching assistant, and then became an Elementary School Teacher at the Gloversville Enlarged School District for two years. What is your education?

I attended The College of Saint Rose in Albany for all of my degree programs. I currently hold the following degrees: School Building Leader (SBL) Advanced Certificate, School District Leader (SDL) Advanced Certificate, Masters of Literacy, Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education and Bachelor of Science in Special Education.

What do you look forward to in your new position?

I am most looking forward to building relationships with all stakeholders in the district. I look forward to being an integral part of the New Lebanon CSD community. I am excited to work collaboratively with administrators, educators, related service providers, athletic coaches, and all school staff. I hope to use my knowledge of curriculum and technology to ensure high quality instructional programs and learning take place. It is my goal to foster a safe and positive school environment and enhance both the academic and athletic experiences for students at New Lebanon Jr/Sr High School. In my short time here, I can already see that New Lebanon is a special place.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have two dogs: one chocolate lab named Easton and one yellow lab named Weston who enjoy going for walks and playing fetch. I am a fitness enthusiast and enjoy weight lifting regularly. You can often find me hiking, riding my bike, and golfing. Traveling to new places, especially a beach is one of my passions. As a former college athlete, I enjoy watching and attending many different sporting events. Some of my favorite sports teams include the New York Yankees, the Knicks, Syracuse, and the Kansas City Chiefs.
