Challenger Patrick Nelson Announces Endorsements

Patrick Nelson, the Democratic and Working Families Party nominee for New York State Senate in District 43, announced on Tuesday, October 20, endorsements by more than 40 New York leaders, legislators, unions, and organizations. Locally, they include Congressmen Antonio Delgado and Paul Tonko, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, State Senator Neil Breslin, Assembly Members Didi Barrett and Phil Steck as well as Town Supervisors Tistrya Houghtling of New Lebanon and Jack Conway of East Greenbush.

Among the union endorsements Mr. Nelson has picked up include the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA), Public Employees Federation (PEF), New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) and Teamsters Local 294.
Mr. Nelson was in Hoosick Falls on Monday, October 19, as part of his bike rides throughout the district, speaking to local officials and members of the public on a variety of matters.
Candidate Nelson is looking to unseat first term Republican Senator Daphne Jordan.
