Man Admits To Unlawful Surveillance
Office of the District Attorney’s Press Release
Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly has announced that Anthony Pascucci, age 50, pled guilty to one count of Unlawful Surveillance in the Second degree, a class E felony in satisfaction of a multiple count indictment.
Pascucci, on or about October, 2018 and February, 2019, intentionally used a hidden camera installed in a fake smoke detector to view and record a young woman in her bedroom.
“This is an incredibly disturbing case, with a lot of effort from the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Department and our office, we were able to bring closure to this case without forcing the victim to relive the experience,” said Mary Pat Donnelly, Rensselaer County District Attorney.
Pascucci will be sentenced on December 11 in front of Judge Jennifer Sober.
Rensselear County Assistant District Attorney Bill Andrews prosecuted the case with Stephen Coffey defending Pascucci.
