Two HFCS Students Test Positive for COVID-19
According to a letter from District Superintendent Pat Dailey, they have been notified that two students in the district have tested positive for the virus. One is a high school student who has attended 100% virtual learning and not been in the building since the beginning of the school year. The second is an elementary student who attended classes last Thursday and Friday.
Classes in the elementary school are divided into cohorts with students remaining in small groups together throughout the day. This design has resulted in minimal contact with other individuals. Those who have been in contact with the students have been advised to quarantine until November 1.
In his letter, Superintendent Daily says this will not lead to a pivot to fully remote at this time.
No other schools in The Eastwick Press coverage area are reporting any cases of COVID-19.
