Grafton/Brunswick

It Was All Treats With No Tricks

Even Mother Nature was not in the mood for any chicanery on Halloween, Saturday, October 31, as after a very chilly start, the sun appeared, it warmed up and the candy came out in both Grafton and Brunswick. The Grafton Youth Commission sponsored its annual Trunk or Treat at the VFW/Fire Hall, where a number of people decorated the trunks of their vehicles, (and themselves) and handed out sweet treats to those big and small.

At the NYS Route 2 ballfields in Brunswick, many of the town’s volunteer fire departments (Pittstown too) set up tents and brought out their apparatus to help entertain the little ones, on a COVID-19 challenged Halloween Day. It worked, as both events were well attended.
