Chamber Hands Out Annual Awards

For more than 25 years, the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce has recognized businesses that invest in the economic, cultural and humanitarian advancement of the Rensselaer County region by bestowing the Van Rensselaer Awards and the Edward H. “Ebbie” Pattison Citizenship Award, recognizing an individual who demonstrates good citizenship and a community-centered spirit.

Typically done with a banquet, this year’s awards ceremony was held virtually because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 winners were:

 

Van Rensselaer Corporate Award:

Callanan Industries, Inc.

Van Rensselaer Small Business Award:

Jon Briccetti – CEO – Troy Web Consulting

The Edward H. Pattison “The Ebbie” Award:

Kathleen Jimino 

Kathy Jimino – Former County Executive
