Stephentown

November 6, 2020 By steve bradley

The Library Has Opened Its Doors

The Stephentown Library has been open for in person visiting for three weeks now and it has been going extremely smoothly. We want to thank everyone who has visited and been so willing to comply with all of our COVID restrictions. Mask wearing, making appointments, and social distancing is difficult but so important right now. If you would like to visit us, please remember to make an appointment and wear your mask. We really look forward to seeing everyone again.

Jack O’ Lantern Display

What a success!!! The Stephentown Community really came through to make our Jack O’ Lantern display a wonderful success. The library gave out free carving pumpkins (a huge thank you to Kinderhook Creek Farm!!) to anyone who wanted to participate. We gave out over 80 pumpkins and we received 80 carved pumpkins back. The display was an impressive sight with 80 lit carved pumpkins lining the yard of the library. SML would like to thank everyone who participated!
