National Junior Honor Society Ceremony
An induction into the National Junior Honor Society was held virtually for family and friends of 22 eighth grade students at Tamarac Middle School on November 23. While those who would normally watch the ceremony in person were directed to the Google Meet platform, some of the inductees were allowed to gather together for the induction ritual.
Each new inductee holds a single white candle, which according to the Spirit of the Honor Society means, I am the spirit: “The flame of my ideals has led us to aspire to sublime heights and spur us on to rich endeavors. Through ages many have I breathed into their souls the pureness of my passion.” Photo provided.
