Mass Food Giveaway Returns To HFCS
On Wednesday, January 6, the Mass Food Giveaway returns to the parking lot of the Hoosick Falls Central School. Like the event last summer, the CC Move program of Catholic Charities of the Albany diocese and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, in conjunction with many other area organizations, will be giving out meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods and other food stores to anyone who would like them.
Volunteers are again needed to help with the food giveaway. If you would like to help, please show up by 10:45 am. The giveaway starts at noon. This is a drive-thru event.
The school is located on NYS route 22, just south of the village.
