Hoosick Falls

Four Arrested On Drug Charges

On Sunday, February 21 at approximately 9 pm, during a routine traffic stop, the Hoosick Falls Police Department arrested four individuals and charged them with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

Officers located Marijuana, 10 vials of Concentrated Cannabis, Nicotine Pens and Drug Paraphernalia. The driver, a 17-year-old female along with a 15-year-old male that was in the vehicle were arrested and released to Youth Court. 

Two other passengers that were in the vehicle were identified as 18-year-old Benjamin Bebon of Abbott Street, Hoosick Falls and 19-year-old Zachariah Dinon of Ball Street in the village were released on appearance tickets to reappear in Village Court. 

All were charged with Felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana while both Bebon and Dinon were charged with 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
