Mon., 3/1. Hoosic Valley’s head coach Alex Lilac got his first win over his dad, Hoosick Falls’ longtime coach Mike Lilac on this evening. But Dad didn’t make it easy. Hoosic Valley held a double digit lead with minutes to go but the HF Panthers came back to get within three with twelve seconds left.

Hoosick Falls missed a couple foul shots that hurt their chances and the Indians held on for the win. Jake Sparks scored 20 points while Josh Colegrove had 12 and Dylan Baker chipped in 10 for Hoosick Falls. Tyler Eddy had 15 and Isaiah Eckler added 14 for the Valley.

Catholic Central 16 15 15 11 5 62

Sat., 2/27. Hoosic Valley made up an end of third quarter deficit of seven points to tie the game at the end of regulation and then outscored Catholic Central by one in the overtime to come away with an exciting win. Landon Reilly scored 18 points to lead the Indians and Matt Rowe added 13. Jach Mattfeld scored 16 for Catholic Central.

Tues., 2/26. The Bengals coundn’t match Mekeel Christian’s height advantage and hurt them on both ends of the court. Zachary Rice scored 29 points for the Bengals. Alex Barnhill led MacKeel Christian with 29 points

Tues., 2/25. Jeff Finkle scored 24 points and Tyler Eddy added 16 to lead Valley over Loundonville Christian. Patrick Manella scored 16 for Loundonville.

Girls

Cambridge 13 19 10 15 57

Troy 12 7 10 4 33

Mon., 3/1. Class A Troy held their own for the first and third quarters but couldn’t keep up in the second and fourth to fall to the Indians (3-0). Sophie Phillips had 16 points, Lilly Phillips and Schuylar Nolan each had 11 and Stasia Epler had 10. Jenalyse Alarcon had 18 points for Troy.

Sat., 3/1. Amber MacNeil scored 10 for Hoosick Falls. E. Peckham led Hoosic Valley with 18 and L. Czub added 13.

Sat., 2/27. Sophie Phillips scored 26 points to lead Cambridge over the Witches. Lilly Phillips added 21 and Stasia Epler had 16.

Sat., 2/27. Olivia Estes scored 16 points for the Panthers. Eri Huban and Meleena Otatti each scored 14 for Albany Academy.
