The new combination of Hoosick Falls and Tamarac took to the football field Saturday as the Wildcats and it proved to be a winning effort. The team had 55 players come out to play. There will be junior varsity games on Mondays, something that wasn’t possible last year.

Each team is scheduled to play five regular season games, and two post season games. Schedules can change daily with Covid situations and rescheduling.

Sat., 3/20 at Watervliet High School. The Hoosick Falls / Tamarac union got off to a great start on a beautiful Saturday afternoon when the Wildcats dominated Ichabod Crane High. The Wildcats scored early in the first quarter and were never threatened or tested for the remainder of the contest. Payton Nealone ran for 99 yards on ten carries and Josh Colegrove scored four touchdowns, two as a rusher and two as a receiver, to pace the Wildcats. The defense was a run stopping machine as I-C tried time and time again to gain yards in the center of the line and was shut down. Wildcats quarterbacks Greg Mays and Tristan Nemjo combined for 109 yards on 10 of 13 completions and two touchdowns.
