New Lebanon School

March 18, 2021 By steve bradley

Transitioning To A Four Day School Schedule

New Lebanon Junior/Senior High School Principal Matthew Klafehn has announced that starting on Monday, March 22, grades 7 through 12 will begin in person classes four days week, instead of the two days as is the current schedule. All students will be in the building on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with Wednesday remaining a remote learning day.

In an open letter to district families, Principal Klafehn noted students will continue to be distanced 6 feet apart from one another and certain classes will be relocated to larger spaces in the building. Masks must continue to be worn.

Families that have chosen to continue with the full remote learning option are now committing to remain remote through the end of the school year. This, he says, is due to the impact even a single extra child can have on a room’s capacity to hold a class while following COVID-19 spacing guidelines.

Any questions, you may contact the principal at the school.
