Four New Corrections Officers Sworn In

Rensselaer County Sheriff Patrick Russo swore in four new Correctional Officers Monday morning, March 1, at a ceremony held at the Public Safety Building in Troy.

Collin Brooking was born in Troy.  He graduated from Troy High School in 2009 and graduated Magna cum laude from the College of St. Rose with a B.S. in Psychology in 2017.  He resides with his wife in Troy.

Demetrio Carbonaro was born in Albany and graduated from Troy High in 2014 and received a B.A. in Criminal Justice from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2018. He currently resides in Troy.

Robert Griffith was born in Albany. He graduated from Ravena-Coeyman’s Selkirk High School in 2011. He currently resides in Schodack Landing.

Connor Terry was born in Niskayuna. He graduated from LaSalle Institute in 2014. He received a B.A. in History from SUNY Geneseo in 2018. He currently resides in Rensselaer.

Congratulations to these new officers as they begin their careers with the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office.R
