Cross Country Sectionals

Congratulations to the BNL Cross Country Team on their impressive performance at Sectionals last Friday, November 5. The BNL Girls Cross Country team won the Sectionals race at SPAC with 41 points. Allura Meizinger led the way with an overall second place finish. Elsie Corbett, Sadie Giumarra and Brady Hills had a strong wall finish placing 9, 10 and 11. Ava Noel secured the BNL girls victory by finishing in 16th place. Excellent races were also run by Sam Rojker, Elaine Savaria and Addison Powell. The BNL Girls team will be heading to State Championships in Binghamton this weekend. 

The BNL Boys Cross Country team had a strong showing at Sectionals as well. Gabe Kalisz had an outstanding sectional finish placing 6th out of 116 runners and will be heading to States this weekend as well. Matthew Kluck had an excellent race finishing in 13th place. Strong races were run at Sectionals and all season by Carlton Truax, Aidan Vandyk, Layne Chaykowski-Jewitt, Nicholas Mosher, Eben Donohue and Lance Schroder.

Congratulations on an excellent season of racing to the BNL modified runners Noah Bonesteel, Finn Buckenroth, Avyn Caposso, Jacob Olin and Richard Bachner.
