Michael D. Zinna

Petersburgh – Michael D. Zinna, 59, passed away on Sunday, February 6, at his residence on North Shore Road, Babcock Lake. He resided there with his wife Patricia (Wideawake) Zinna.

Michael was born on July 12, 1962, in Copiague, NY, son of the late Michael L. and Amalia (Lopez) Zinna. He was employed at Norlite in Cohoes, NY, as a Master Mechanic. Michael enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, cars, hanging out at the lake and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors other than his wife Patricia include their children Leeanne (Rafael) Diaz, Victoria Zinna, Chad Wideawake and Michael (Molly) Zinna, brother John (Joan) Socha, niece Katherine Socha and his eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 11, at 4 pm, from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2 pm until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Babcock Lake Property Owners Association through the funeral home. A Celebration of Michael’s life will follow the services at 11 Lakeview, Petersburgh.
