Stephentown Youth Commission Easter Egg Hunt Update

The Stephentown Youth Commission Easter Egg Hunt was cancelled due to weather. The celebration will now be held over the summer at the Stephentown Youth Commission Day Camp for children in grades 1 through 6.  For pre-k and kindergarten children, please look to the Stephentown Memorial Library calendar of events to see when they will be hunting for eggs!

Cambridge Area Branch, WNF&GA Plant Sale

On Saturday, May 14, the Cambridge Area Branch of the Woman’s National Farm and Garden will hold its annual plant sale.  The sale will be held on the lawn of the Cambridge Methodist Church (next to the Post Office) from 9 am to noon.
A variety of perennials and annuals, including geraniums in full bloom, will be available. Also for sale will be Booth’s Blend, a must for every gardener.  Come early for the best selection and support the Farm and Garden in this their main fund-raiser. The sale will take place rain or shine.

Wednesday, July 25, 1855: This forenoon Geo P. began to do our haying, he and Edward Manning and his brother Michael Manning mowed and quit mowing at noon for today the weather is cloudy and starts raining. Edward Hatch worked at the shed boarding it up where the barn was taken away. This forenoon John F. helped some to work at the shed, and this afternoon John F. not very well.
