Taconic Valley Historical Society To Discuss The Rutland Railroad

A round table discussion on the Rutland Railroad as it operated in this valley will be held at the next meeting of the Taconic Valley Historical Society on Monday, June 15, at 7:30 pm. The meeting will be at the United Methodist Church on South Main Street in Berlin. Charles Hakes will lead the discussion, with the audience adding their anecdotes to the general information. Please plan on coming both to add to the general information and to learn about the influence of the railroad on the community.

The Grafton Historical Society Annual Picnic Is June 17

Stephentown Library Book Sale & Festival

The Stephentown Memorial Library Summer Book Sale and Festival is Saturday, July 11, from 8:30 am to 5 pm. There will be plenty of summer reading available – hard cover and paperback. There will be a tag sale and bake sale with food and music. The Library is  accepting book donations now during open hours.
