Hoosipalooza 2013 Is Bigger And Badder

January 25, 2013 By eastwickpress

HAYC3 would like to thank the Society of St. Stanislaw for jump-starting Hoosipalooza again this year with $900 for the food pantry. The Hoosipalooza is on Saturday, February 2.
The HooOwl hunt has been creating a huge buzz in the community. The person to find the HAYC3 HooOwl will win $250. The first clue to the HooOwl’s whereabouts was released on the HAYC3 website on January 19. If you haven’t started the search yet, there is still time. Visit www.HAYC3.org to catch up on the clues.
Two new spaces have already opened at the Armory. At 9 am guided meditation will be offered for all ages and levels in the Boddhidharma Room located in the basement of the Armory – curious community members welcome. At 3 pm Honey Heart Holistic Health will give community members the opportunity to discuss ideas and strategies on reaching their nutritional goals. The Honey Heart Health office is located on the second floor of the Armory.
If you are out of town or not able to make it to Hoosipalooza this year and would like to contribute then the HFCS Elementary School has your solution. The HFCS Elementary School classes will be collecting “Pennies for the Pantry” the week leading up to Hoosipalooza. If you are passing by, but won’t be able to stop at one of the events that day then SMA will gladly take your bottles at 10am outside of St. Mark’s Church on Main Street to benefit the Food Pantry.
Keep looking for that HooOwl, grease up your bed for the bed race, put on your layers and get ready for good music and warm food and a day full of laughs to celebrate Hoosick while benefiting our local food pantry.
