Bennington – Mrs. Cora V.  Morgan, 87, a resident of River Street, Bennington, VT, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday November 2, 2011. Mrs. Morgan was born in Center Shaftsbury, VT, on October 22, 1924. She was the last surviving of ten children born to Myron and Leona McDonald. Jessie R. Fyfe

Petersburgh – Jessie R. Fyfe, 79, died Tuesday evening, November 1, 2011, at the Hoosick Falls Health Center in Hoosick Falls, NY. Her daughters and a granddaughter were at her side when, after a ten year long illness, she passed peacefully from this life.
Born October 10, 1932, in Petersburgh, NY, she was a daughter of Walter and Cora (Jones) Weeden. During the Korean War fate would have it her family gave a ride to Steven Fyfe, a handsome soldier from Maine who happened to be hitchhiking through Petersburgh. They corresponded and, upon his return from service in October 1952, began a long and happy marriage.

Stephentown – Arthur J. Schinzel, 96, of Valley View Road, Stephentown, NY, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was the devoted husband of the late M. Edythe Pease Schinzel to whom he was married for 63 years. They were married on August 8, 1944.

Glenn Miller

Hoosick – Glenn Richter Paul Miller, 48, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at the Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. He had resided on Route 7 in Hoosick, NY, with the love of his life Sherry Marozas.
Born on September 10, 1963, in Weymouth, MA, Glenn was the son of Ronald K. and Anne F. (Dasey) Miller. Glenn worked as a self-employed carpenter throughout his life. He enjoyed working with his hands, woodworking and drawing. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson.
Survivors, other than his fiancée and his parents, include his son, two brothers, three sisters, three step-daughters, a step-son, a step-brother, two step-sisters and three step-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Friday, October 14, at 10:30 am from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 am until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hoosick Falls. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Second Chance Animal Shelter or the American Heart Association through the funeral home.

Stephen Michael Walters

Petesburgh/Berlin – Stephen Michael Walters, 56, went home to Jesus on September 24, 2011, in Ardmore, OK.  He was born January 23, 1955, in Troy, NY, to Harold Henry and Violet May (Kaiser) Walters.  Stephen graduated from high school in Averill Park, NY.  He then proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
