Hoosick Falls –  On March 5, 2011, our beloved father and grandfather, Irving “Irv” Stevens, 83, of Hoosick Falls, NY, was called upon to join his family in heaven. Stephentown – Mrs. Ini High Prior died February 25, 2011, at Providence Care Center in Lenox, MA. She was 90 years old. Since her retirement she had resided in Stephentown, NY, at Salisbury Estates, Pittsfield, MA, and most recently at Sugar Hill, Dalton, MA.

Arnold L. Goodermote

Berlin – Arnold Lee Goodermote, known to everyone as Arnie, of 7406 Crossbow Lane, Corryton, TN, died Thursday, March 3, 2011, after a long illness.
Born in Berlin, NY, on January 9, 1931, he was the son of the late Arthur and Josephine Goodermote and husband to Donna Amidon Goodermote. Arnie is pre-deceased by his twin brother, Arthur, and brother, Donald Goodermote.

Marilyn Skidmore

Bennington – Marilyn Church Skidmore, 76, of Gage Street, Bennington, VT, died on Wednesday morning, February 23, 2011, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington.
Born on February 15, 1935, in Petersburgh, NY, she was the daughter of the late Gary and Helen (Zeigler) Church. She grew up in Petersburgh and was a graduate of Hoosick Falls High School, Class of 1952. She enjoyed cats and dogs.
Survivors include her daughters, Gayle and husband Robert Welch and Helen Skidmore, all of Bennington, and a son, Louis and wife Tracie Skidmore of Pittsfield, MA.

Harry Perks Memorial Service

The Harry “Poppychop” Perks Memorial Service will take place on March 6 at the Thomas Barber Funeral Home, Armsby Road, Petersburgh, from 1 to 3 pm followed by a gathering of family and friends at the Berlin Fire House from 3 to 5 pm.
