The Parks family wishes to recognize our brothers and sisters in Christ from the New Life Baptist Church in Pflugerville, whose love and support during this time of loss has provided immeasurable comfort and healing.
We also wish to thank the men and women of the Austin-Travis County EMS and the Travis County Sheriff’s Office for their valiant efforts and compassion and the Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State for receiving Zeke’s remains toward a noble cause.
During his short but happy life, Zeke was loved by many, and his absence is felt profoundly by all who knew him. His brother, Anderson, would often thank God for his little brother, and Zeke’s big sister, Scarlett, affectionately dubbed him “Zeekie.” Anderson and Scarlett both enjoyed helping to take care of their baby brother.
Among friends and family, there was no shortage of eager arms waiting to hold and feed Zeke. He was never alone. He is missed greatly.
Memorial services were held at 7 pm, Tuesday, November 18, at the New Life Baptist Church.
Please share your memories and words of comfort with the family by visiting Zeke’s memorial at www.cookwaldencapitalparks.com.
