Two Cars Derail In Hoosick

Two small covered hopper railroad cars fell off the tracks at the old Hoosick depot in Hoosick on Saturday. A small amount of cargo was lost out of the cars onto the tracks. Petersburgh Town Board Will Consider Agreement With Taconic On PFOA Expense Reimbursement

Petersburgh Town Supervisor Alan Webster has announced that the Town has reached an agreement with Taconic to have them reimburse the Town for costs incurred by the Town during 2016 responding to the discovery of PFOA in its water supply and in private wells.
