Hoosick To Consider Regulation Of Solar Farms

At the August 10 Hoosick Town Board meeting, members spent considerable time discussing solar farms and the potential they can have, both positive and negative, for the town. They decided that input from the community is important, and they scheduled a public hearing at 6 pm at the Town offices on August 24. Adria Diel, who is on the Planning Board, said that they had been exploring the possibility of forming a committee to explore the pros and cons of regulating solar farms. Petersburgh Library Raising Funds For Ramp Improvements

The Petersburgh Public Library has begun fund raising to help pay for a new ramp for the library. The ramp was put in around 1978 and was up to the codes of that era.
