Grafton’s Town Store Undergoing A Major Facelift

September 12, 2017 By eastwickpress

By Doug La Rocque
It was originally just the front section of the current store.  Then came the addition many years ago of the part that is now the kitchen.  Now owner Tom Forster has broken ground on another renovation, that will move the current kitchen area and make that space the front of the new store.  He will add another section that will become a new enlarged kitchen area.  The current front part, the original store, will come off.  A rendering of the new store is posted on the entrance way for all to see.
Forster tells The Eastwick Press some of the construction will be complete this fall, and the rest of the outside work in the spring.  Over the winter, he hopes to complete his inside renovations.  He also plans to upgrade the gas pumps and the parking lot, but that will have to wait for another year.  That is when his current gas tanks are scheduled for replacement, and he plans to complete the upgrade at that time.
