Hoosick Falls Drama Club Spring Musical Is this Weekend

The Hoosick Falls Central School Drama Club will perform ‘How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying’ the nights of Friday, April 8, and Saturday April 9 at 7 pm. Upbeat Mood At Hoosick Rising Meeting

Positive Water News Feeds Hope Of Rebirth

The Hoosick Rising meeting, held at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall on Tuesday evening, March 22 was upbeat and forward-looking. Hopes were high that the Village and Town are, or will soon be, turning a corner.
The meeting began with an update on the water. The NYSDOH had just reported the results of ten new samples taken from ten different locations in the Village water distribution system. Seven of them were reported as “non-detect,” defined as less than 2 parts per trillion. The other three were 2.12 ppt, 3.77 ppt, and 4.1 ppt. [Read more…] about Upbeat Mood At Hoosick Rising Meeting

HFCS Students Visit HACA Food Pantry Ahead Of Empty Bowls

Students in Megan Conner’s Ceramics classes have been hard at work crafting bowls for the Empty Bowls event happening in the high school cafeteria on April 16 starting at 6 pm. The event is designed to tie art with hunger awareness and benefits the Hoosick Area Church Association (HACA) food pantry.

Antiques And Art Discovery Day At Tech Valley High School

An antiques and art discovery day will be held to benefit the Tech Valley High School Parent Activities Council (PAC) on Saturday, April 16. The event is open to the public from 9 am to 6 pm. Antique, art and collectible experts from The Appraisers Road Show will hold the event at Tech Valley High School (TVHS), which is located at 246 Tricentennial Drive in Albany on the campus of the Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) at SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
