A Sunday morning fire at 19 Wall Street gutted the upstairs level of a garage. The fire got a big head start before the call came. Lady Panthers Win League Title, Boys Are Co-Champs In 3-Way Tie

The 13-1 HFCS varsity girls sealed the deal for their second consecutive Wasaren League crown last Friday when they defeated Tamarac on their home court. By not losing a game since a one point loss to Hoosic Valley on January 15, the Ladies cemented their hold on first place. Had the Panthers lost any game they would have tied Hoosic Valley. Hoosic Valley was lurking, one game back, just waiting for the Panthers to make a slip that never happened. PFOA Becomes A Town Issue As PFOA Is Detected

The Town has been working with the NY State Department of Health (DOH) to get private wells tested for PFOA. Results from the samples taken in November are in and are available on both the Town and Village websites.
