Hoosick Falls Central Sets Tax Rates

At its August 25 meeting, the Hoosick Falls School District finalized tax rates for the bills that will be going out in the first week of September, but they subsequently learned that there was a glitch in the Rensselaer County Data used to produce them. Flower Arranging Seminar At Center For Nursing And Rehabilitation

On August 19, 2016, The Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Hoosick Falls was pleased to present a flower arranging seminar for our residents. Bea Peterson, Carol Gatus, Barb Wrubleski presented the seminar using their flowers.[private]FlowerArrangersatCNRwebThe residents were happy with the presentation and enjoyed learning the art of flower arranging. Bea Peterson lives in Hoosick Falls and has been active in the garden scene. Her kudos include; a 43 year member and past National President of the Woman’s National Farm and Garden Association and a flower show judge. Carol Gatus is a master gardener with Cornell Cooperative Extension and an Auxiliary Volunteer and Barb Wrubleski is an Auxiliary Volunteer.
