The Village Board meeting on July 12 began with an engineer who is working on expansion of the Cumberland Farms in Hoosick Falls giving a presentation. Cumberland Farms is buying the neighboring property, formerly the Elks lodge, in order to expand its parking area to improve, in the words of the engineer, “access and maneuverability.” The existing building on that lot will be removed. Walter Wood High School Reunion Is Well-Attended

The 35th Annual Walter A. Wood Alumni Reunion was held at the Pittstown Rescue Squad on Saturday, June 11. Approximately 150 members and guests from the 50-year and over graduating classes attended. A turkey dinner was served and Ronald Seifert was Master of Ceremonies. Invocation was given by Malcolm Brownell. Janice Tate introduced the M.C. following dinner, and classes were introduced.
