The Hoosick Falls Community band under the direction of Bill Gaillard will begin its summer band concerts in Wood Park on Wednesday, July 6, at 7:30 pm. As with last season, in the event of rain concerts will be held at the Gilchrist skating rink on Griffin Avenue. The audience should bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the program. Coffee And Camaraderie
Coffee and Camaraderie will be taking a brief hiatus and will not meeting on Wednesday, July 6 or Wednesday, July 13.
C&C meets at Hoosick Falls Community Alliance Church on Wednesdays from 9 to 10:30 am. It is open to anyone who has served in the military in any capacity. We are talking about taking a couple of fun road trips this summer so stop in and check us out.

HAYC3 Offers Texas Hold’em
A Texas Hold’em game will be held on Friday, July 15 at the HAYC3 Armory. Newcomers and experienced players are all welcome. Doors open at 6 pm, with play beginning at 6:30.
The buy-in is $40 with an option for one $20 rebuy and $10 for High Hand. The HAYC3 Armory is located at 80 Church Street on the corner of Elm Street in historic downtown Hoosick Falls, N.Y.

Because of continuing problems with the wood pellet boiler, The Board passed a resolution authorizing the initiation of litigation against Clark Patterson Lee, P.C., David R. Hart, P.E., C.E.A., Larry D. Werts. P.E., Anthony R. Marchetti, P.E., Bioenergy Project Partners, LLC and David Dungate, the State Education Department, and the NYS Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). Bill Extends Time Limitation On PFOA Litigation

A bill sponsored by State Senator Kathy Marchione revising statute of limitation law relating to “toxic torts” was passed unanimously by the New York State Senate in the final hours of the session.
