PFOA Found In Well Water At HFCSD Bus Garage

Carbon Filtration Plans Sent To County Health Department for Approval

A test of the water at the Hoosick Falls School District’s bus garage has found PFOA in the water at a concentration above the EPA Provisional Health Advisory level. The bus garage is 1.2 miles from the School District’s main campus. The water at the school does not have PFOA in it. It is tested regularly, and it is clean. HAYC3, Hoosick Community Raise Funds For Those In Need

Large Turnout For Feed Your Soul-Feed Your Neighbor Event

Nearly 300 community members turned out for HAYC3’s “Feed Your Soul, Feed Your Neighbor” event at the HAYC3 Armory last Friday.  Over 275 servings of 8 varieties of mac-and-cheese were served with attendees also enjoying an art and photography show and live music provided by James Tennyson.
