Maj. Gen. Joseph J. Taluto, The Adjutant General for the State of New York, announced the promotion of Jeffrey Hammond from Petersburgh who is serving with the 206th Military Police Company. Hammond has been promoted to the rank of Private 1st Class in recognition of his capabilities for additional responsibility and leadership.
The Johnsonville Rescue Squad located at 4 River Road, Johnsonville, will be holding its monthly breakfast on Sunday, January 4 from 7:30 to 11:30 am. Breakfast includes pancakes, French toast, eggs, omelets, sausage, toast, hash browns, fruit, juice and coffee. Call 753-9459 for more information.
