To the Editor:  

I am a resident of the Town of Stephentown, and I no longer take pride in saying that.  I am appalled to know that recent actions along with the conviction of Mr. Gardner can be so blatantly laughed at by others in the state as well as local radio stations.  The residents of Stephentown are ALL being laughed at and I for one am personally tired of the immature behavior, bullying and threats that have come to be the norm in the town if you dare to speak your opinion.

To the Editor:

 

We are writing to show our support for Mr. Neil Gardner, formerly the Stephentown Highway Supervisor. As you know, he was convicted of wrongdoing in a blatant act of politicism. He has been railroaded by the small faction in our town who wants to see him ruined. We are thoroughly disgusted with our justice system and feel that this is a terrible injustice.

Resource Roundup Draws Good Crowd

Paula Dibble estimated that about 60 people stopped in at Stephentown’s first “Resource Roundup” held on Wednesday at the Town Hall. Pow Wow Will Come To Stephentown

After successfully producing and establishing the 3rd Annual “Rock, Rattle And Drum American Indian Pow Wow” in the Berkshires as a signature cultural event with its premier “Spirit On The Mountain Music Festival” at Eastover Resort in Lenox, MA, this past Labor day weekend, the Healing Winds producers and Pow Wow committee have decided to produce the 4th Annual Rock, Rattle And Drum Pow Wow in Stephentown on August 8 and 9 of 2009. At the Eastover event over 30 local and regional bands performed over the three day weekend holiday including Jefferson Starship and two other Grammy Award winning national acts.
