HFCS Golfers Keep Winning Ways

Monday, September 12 at HFCC. HF 10-0. Ryan Bloomer (HF) won against Reed Boduch, 2-1. Mathew Smith (HF) won against Mason Williamson, 3-1; Jake Bowes won against Connor Smith, 1 up. [private]

Friday, September 9 at Fairways at Halfmoon. HF 9-0. Ryan Bloomer (HF) won against Patrick Dehles, 4-3. Mathew Smith (HF) won against Dominic Pontore, 4-3; Connor Smith (HF) won against Connor Lyons, 4-3; Hayden Smith (HF) won against Christopher Dehles, 4-2; Miles Smith (HF) won against Kyle VanSykle, 5-3. Ryan Bloomer, Mathew Smith and Connor Smith shot sectional scores. Ryan Smith and Connor Smith tied as medalists with 42.

HF 4 ½ – Greenwich ½

Wednesday, September 7 at Battenkill Golf Club. HF 8-0. Ryan Bloomer (HF) won against Reed Boduch, 2-1. Mathew Smith (HF) tied Mason Williamson; Connor Smith (HF) won against Jake Owens, 4-3; Hayden Smith (HF) won against Noah Kapper, 4-3; Miles Smith (HF) won against Darren Pemrick. Ryan Bloomer, Mathew Smith and Connor Smith shot sectional scores. Mathew Smith and Mason Williamson (G) tied as medalists with a 37.[/private]

Service Dedicated To All Who Lost Their Lives On 9-11

A 9/11 Memorial Parade and Service was held on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Hoosick Falls. A parade began at the Hoosick Falls Firehouse, went down Main Street and ended at Wood Park. The parade consisted of area first responders and their equipment, Boy and Girl Scouts, bagpipers, clergy, politicians, American Legion members and community band members. There were about 15 emergency vehicles in the parade from all around the area. First responders traveled from as far away as West Sand Lake. NYS DEC Plans For Filtration Of Berlin Water Uncertain
