Senator Kathy Marchione, Chair of the Senate’s Local Government Committee, has announced that her bi-partisan legislation to help local communities address the growing challenge of abandoned buildings has been unanimously passed by the New York State Senate. Hoosick Falls is one of the communities that could benefit from this legislation. It still needs to be passed by the State Assembly. Join Hoosick Falls CSD Jazz Band At The Great NY State Fair

The Hoosick Falls Central School Jazz Band is once again venturing out to The Great New York State Fair! On Saturday, August 29, a group of 25 students, ranging in age from 9th grade through 12th grade, will travel to Syracuse to perform. This year will be the fourth time they’ve done so. Stephentown Memorial Library Events

Free Breakfast & Lunch for kids – through July 31.  We are pleased to have been chosen as a feeding site for this federally funded program.  We will be serving a healthy breakfast and lunch each weekday. Breakfast will be from 8:30 -9:30 am and Lunch will be from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in the community room.  There is no charge and no income or residency requirement.  All children under age 18 are encouraged to take advantage of this program.
