Taconic Valley Youth Basketball Sign Up

Taconic Valley Youth Basketball sponsored by PVMCC will hold a sign-up night on Tuesday, October 18, from 6 to 8 pm at the Petersburgh Veteran’s Memorial Community Center. This program is open to all children within the Berlin Central School District in first through sixth grade.
Registration costs $25 per child which includes a shirt.
Coaches and assistant coaches are needed.

Drop In Crafts At The Petersburgh Library

Petesburgh/Berlin – Stephen Michael Walters, 56, went home to Jesus on September 24, 2011, in Ardmore, OK.  He was born January 23, 1955, in Troy, NY, to Harold Henry and Violet May (Kaiser) Walters.  Stephen graduated from high school in Averill Park, NY.  He then proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. A Benefit Dinner For The Squiers Family

On Saturday, October 15, from 2 to 7 pm at the Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Hall a benefit pig roast dinner will be held for the Hoosick Falls/Pownal family of Roy and Amy Squiers. Amy is in her early 30s and, after many treatments and surgeries, is losing a battle to a rare type of cancer.

Petersburgh Fire Auxiliary Can Auction And Bake Sale

The Petersburgh Fire Auxiliary will be holding its annual Can Auction, Bake Sale/Tag Sale on Saturday, October 8, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Fire House on Route 22.
Those who stop by will have the opportunity to win some wonderful items or gift certificates from local vendors for just $ .25 a chance.  There will be a wonderful selection of home baked pies, breads, cookies, etc.  We will also have some very reasonably priced gently used treasures in our Tag Sale.
