The Pearl of Great Price: A Fundraising Concert

A special piano concert will be held on Saturday, April 9, at 7 pm at the Petersburgh Baptist Church to benefit the mission work of the Hodges family to the poor in Tororo, Uganda. Petersburgh Town Board Action – Planning Board Front And Center

At its March meeting, the Petersburgh Town Board agreed to a request from Planning Board Chairman Dave Miller to add a Planning Board page on to the Town web site. Miller said Planning Board Member Frank Sheldon had sent some material to Town Clerk Callie Crisp to be used to start the Planning Board page.

PVMCC Play Reading Series

The play reading series for adults at the Petersburgh Veterans Memorial Community Center will be led by teacher and director Barb Smith. This is a six week series to be held on Sunday afternoons from  3 to 5 pm on April 10 and 17 and May 1, 8, 15 and 22.

Marilyn Skidmore

Bennington – Marilyn Church Skidmore, 76, of Gage Street, Bennington, VT, died on Wednesday morning, February 23, 2011, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington.
Born on February 15, 1935, in Petersburgh, NY, she was the daughter of the late Gary and Helen (Zeigler) Church. She grew up in Petersburgh and was a graduate of Hoosick Falls High School, Class of 1952. She enjoyed cats and dogs.
Survivors include her daughters, Gayle and husband Robert Welch and Helen Skidmore, all of Bennington, and a son, Louis and wife Tracie Skidmore of Pittsfield, MA.
