Girl Scouts Collect 500 Pounds Of Food For Local Food Pantries

Girl Scout Service Unit 154 has been collecting food donations throughout December and January on behalf of the communities’ local food pantries as well as the Berlin Elementary School’s weekend and holiday pantry.  Troops contacted community organizations and asked for donations at meetings and placed boxes in public places across the four towns. Dave Miller Appointed As Building Inspector

The Petersburgh Town Board held an executive session for an hour before its regular meeting on January 18, in which they interviewed two applicants for the position of Building Inspector. The Board appointed David Miller to the position when they began the regular Town Board meeting. The vote was not unanimous, though – it was 4-1 with Schaaphok, Smith, Church, and Webster voting in favor and Barnhill voting against. [Read more…] about Petersburgh Town Board Action
