Supervisor Krahforst said the Town has received a letter from a local citizen about compliance with ADA requirements in the Town buildings, which “makes demands and sets deadlines.” Krahforst said the Town is working diligently to satisfy the demands of its mediation partners, but it is running up against some expensive items for which it does not, at present, have adequate funds. Hudson Valley Community College held its 61st annual Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 16 at the college’s Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy, NY. A total of 2,186 students earned associate degrees and certificates. Of those, 461 graduated with academic honors. The Petersburgh Public Library has begun fund raising to help pay for a new ramp for the library. The ramp was put in around 1978 and was up to the codes of that era.
