Town Of Petersburgh Finding ADA Compliance Difficult

Supervisor Krahforst said the Town has received a letter from a local citizen about compliance with ADA requirements in the Town buildings, which “makes demands and sets deadlines.” Krahforst said the Town is working diligently to satisfy the demands of its mediation partners, but it is running up against some expensive items for which it does not, at present, have adequate funds. Paper Beadmaking At The Library

On Wednesday, September 23 at 4 pm everyone age 10 and up is invited to attend a workshop at the Petersburgh Library to learn how to make paper beads led by Maria Fusco Levin. Sign up is required and only 12 people can be accepted. All materials will be provided, but if anyone has colorful magazines they would like to bring they are welcome to do so. Local Students Graduate With Hudson Valley Community College’s Class of 2015

Hudson Valley Community College held its 61st annual Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 16 at the college’s Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy, NY. A total of 2,186 students earned associate degrees and certificates. Of those, 461 graduated with academic honors. Petersburgh Library Raising Funds For Ramp Improvements
