Rensselaer County 4-H Selects General Interest State Fair Project Picks

Marchione Appointed To State Senate Finance Committee And Talks Property Tax Cap Concerns

Grafton Resident Named New Rensselaer County Undersheriff

Since his graduation from Berlin Central Schools in 1983, Grafton’s Ed Bly has been involved with law enforcement.  That path from an Army Milltary Police Officer through the ranks of the NYS Department of Corrections and into service with the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Department, has now culminated with Bly’s appointment by new Sheriff Pat Russo as his Undersheriff. Rensselaer Land Trust Purchases Additional Land To Expand The Robert P. Ingalls Nature Preserve In Stephentown

Rensselaer Land Trust, with the help from some very generous anonymous donors, purchased an additional 20.52 wooded acres to expand the Robert P. Jimino: County Completes Another Successful Coats For Kids Program

Rensselaer County Executive Kathleen M. Jimino has announced the results of this year’s Coats for Kids program that distributed 562 new coats to children throughout the County. The annual program is administered by the Department for Youth and relies upon a summertime golf outing supported by local businesses to raise the funds to purchase the new coats.
