Lady Mountaineers Post Second Win Of The CHVL Softball Campaign

Starting pitcher Amanda Despart struck out 9 and Alissa Bierwirth had three hits in Berlin’s victory over Doane Stuart this past week.  The 13 to 5 win was the second of the season for the young Berlin Squad that boasts but four seniors.  Haley Maxon and Despart each doubled and Vicky Smith helped seal the win with a sparkling shoestring catch in the field.
