HFCS Bowling – Marbot Has Highest HFCS Score Ever

The Hoosick Falls bowling team beat North Warren at Lake George Lanes on Thursday, December 12, by the score of 4-0. Hoosick Falls had 3,496 total pins to North Warren’s total pins of 2,684. Hoosick Falls has a point total record of 22-2 and a match record of 5-0-1, and North Warren has a point total of 5-11.

Panther Girls Basketball Wins Two

    HFCS 53                     Schuylerville 26 

The Lady Panthers bused up to Schuylerville last Friday to take on the Lady Black Horses. A couple hours later they traveled back with a 53 – 26 win.

Taylor Hayes led the Panthers to the win, scoring 13 points. Olivia Schneider and Megan Flynn each contributed 12 points.

Autographed Pictures To Be Sold At Shop On The Avenue To Create A BCS Scholarship

Mr. Robert C. Miller, retired seventh grade English teacher, did an annual project with his students for many years. Students would write letters to famous people telling them about the project and requesting an autographed photo. The purpose of the project was to teach students how to write letters. Hundreds of letters were written over the years, and, as a result, by the time Mr. Miller retired there were over 300 pictures, autographed magazines and letters adorning the walls of his classroom. Panthers Declaw Bengals, 62 – 40

After traveling down Route 7 to Tamarac High School, the Panthers boys basketball team faced the Tamarac Bengals Tuesday evening. Austin Pitt scored 19 second half points, ending with 21. His points were hard earned, mostly inside points. The Panthers scored in bursts. Mountaineers’ Boys Basketball Dispatches Hawthorne Valley

Berlin varsity boys basketball started a three game road trip with a strong showing against Hawthorne Valley. The starting five ripped off a very quick 30 points for a 30-4 first quarter lead. A combination of starters and bench players kept up the pace in the second quarter going into the locker room with the score at 59-10. Lady Panthers Struggle, Lose To Tamarac, 31 – 50

After playing their only game more than a week ago, the Lady Panther basketball team took to their home court to face the 1 – 1 Tamarac Bengals. Tamarac’s loss was to Shenendehowa High School. The Bengals are a pick to win the WASAREN League this year.
