Berlin High School Drama Prepares For Musical

They may be small in number, but the two dozen members of the Berlin High School drama club have been hard at work on this year’s musical The Boyfriend.  While unknown to many, the Broadway version starred Julie Andrews and the movie remake starred Twiggy.

Spaghetti Fund Raiser

On Saturday, March 21, from 4 to 7 pm the BCS senior and junior classes are sponsoring an All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Supper. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.  Dinner includes salad, bread, beverage, desert and all-you-can-eat spaghetti. This is the same night as the performance of the high school drama club musical The Boyfriend.

22nd Annual Ethel Simmons Memorial Award Contest Announced

High school seniors who live in the Town of Grafton are invited to apply for the Ethel Simmons Memorial Award.  This award of $500 is given to the senior who submits the best essay on some aspect of Grafton history. Students who attend  public or private school or are home schooled are eligible to apply.

Burns Takes 2nd In Wrestling State Championships; Robichaud Places 6th

For the first time in a decade the Hoosick Falls wrestling team was being represented at the New York State Championships. Taylor Robichaud and Jeremy Burns took part in the two day tournament that saw 480 wrestlers vie for 30 State championships.
