That sentence pretty much tells you all you need to know about me. [Read more…] about Berlin Valedictory Speech
Berlin Salutatory Speech
When I found out I had the opportunity to speak today, a lot went through my head. I didn’t want to talk a lot about our past here or try to predict our futures; I just wanted to talk and leave an impression. I’ve seen and heard plenty of graduation speeches before. New Lebanon Salutatory Speech
by Haley Gubitz
Superintendent Whitcomb, Principal Klafehn, Vice Principal Arket, teachers, family, friends and the Class of 2015. I can’t believe we’re finally here. It’s hard to stray away from the corniness of a graduation speech, so bear with me for the next few minutes. These past six years really seem to have gone by in the blink of an eye. Thank you to the Lauren Fan Club for cheering me on. Membership is $30, but I’ve heard from testimonials that it’s worth every pretty penny. Now, I don’t intend to give a long speech. Well, because Socrates gave a long speech and his friends killed him. Still, I’m willing to take the off-chance that someone would actually try tackling me as I give this unprecedented lecture. To start off, I think I’ll explain how my senior year ended here. [Read more…] about New Lebanon Valedictory Speech
