Last Friday, the visiting Panthers took on the Schuylerville Black Horses on the Horses’ home field. The Panthers flew out of the gate, taking a 20 – 0 first quarter lead. A 24 yard pass from quarterback Billy Pine to Randy Tutunjian along with two Brad Burns running plays (17 and 67 yards) gave the Panthers all the points they would need to bring home the victory. The HF Varsity Girls Soccer team outscored Greenwich 7-2 last Tuesday night. Goals were racked up by Grace Delurey, 1, Alice Hayden, 1, Liz Babson, 2, Allie Martin, 1, Mackenzie Hinchliffe, 1, and Casie Mann, 1. Brunswick Grange Tailgate Sale
On Sunday, October 7, Brunswick Grange will hold its Agricultural Tailgate Sale at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds, Rt. 67 & 40, Schaghticoke, from 8 am to 12:30 pm. More than fifty vendors will have various varieties of chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, vegetables, plants, flowers and other agricultural items. Absolutely no dogs, cats, puppies or kittens will be allowed for sale. A donation of $15 per vendor will be charged. The event will be held rain or shine, and refreshments will be available.

The HFCS Panthers took on the Stillwater Warriors last Friday night, September 21, on the turf in Stillwater. The Panthers jumped out to a 14 – 0 first quarter lead and never looked back. Brad Burns scored both touchdowns, one a 51 yard pass and another for 8 yards on the ground. The Panthers led 27 – 0 at the half.
