Hunter Education Course In Berlin

A hunter education class sponsored by the Rensselaer County Sportsman Education Program will be offered at the Berlin Rod and Gun Club on Plank Road in Berlin on Monday, April 30, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, Friday, May 4, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm and Saturday, May 5, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. All three sessions must be attended and students must demonstrate proper attitude and safety and pass the test. This course is free, but you must pre-register by calling Rob at 518-573-4261.

Area Teams Enjoy Pittstown Sports Dome

About one half mile west of the Hoosick Town line on Route 7, in Pittstown, sits the Strong Brothers Sports Dome. The Dome is a 210 feet by 200 feet air-supported structure, formed of one or more layers of continuous flexible membranes and anchored to the ground so that a leak proof seal is constituted. Panther Baseball Loses To Greenwich

Neither cold nor wind nor rain can stop an early spring baseball game. That was obvious on Wednesday, April 4, when Hoosick Falls played Greenwich at home.
