Grafton Lakes State Park Holds Its 31st Annual Ice Fishing Contest

Postponed two weeks because of warm temperatures and unsafe ice, winter’s anglers finally got the chance to venture out on the ponds of the State Park, in search of Pickerel, Perch and Trout. Attendance at this year’s event was down considerably from previous years. Park Manager Melissa Ann Miller attributing that to the postponement from the usual date as part of Winterfest, and the subzero temperatures and wind chills. Lady Panthers Win League Title, Boys Are Co-Champs In 3-Way Tie

The 13-1 HFCS varsity girls sealed the deal for their second consecutive  Wasaren League crown last Friday when they defeated Tamarac on their home court. By not losing a game since a one point loss to Hoosic Valley on January 15, the Ladies cemented their hold on first place. Had the Panthers lost any game they would have tied Hoosic Valley. Hoosic Valley was lurking, one game back, just waiting for the Panthers to make a slip that never happened. HFCS Bowling Team Wins Section II Tournament

Hoosick Falls Bowlers Capture Adirondack League Championship

Mountaineers Posted Their 12th Victory Of The 2015-16 Basketball Season And Finish Well In CHVL Play
